A .zip or .rar file is a file that stores and compresses one or more other files. Recently, I tried downloading albums from my Flickr account, but I often received the same error message when opening the .zip file: Unexpceted end of archive. Very frustrating; the message was still there even after redownloading that zip file.

There is, however, a solution. This will explain the solution when using WinRar, but it should also work in other popular file archive programs. Also, this error message can appear on various archive filetypes, including .rar, .zip, .tar, .tar.gz
You will then be asked in what folder the repaired archive should be saved. Choose a folder. The archive type should be the same as the file extension of the original file (so if it is a .zip file, choose ZIP and for a .rar. choose Rar). Click OK.
Hi everyone! I'm currently trying to make a Hub for one of my games, a place where you can quickly install the game without having to actually get the link to the game directly. If there is a better way of doing this, please tell me, but right now I think that creating an installer file, then uploading it to mega or mediafire, and then making a button run the file linked to that link when pressed could work. However, I have absolutely no clue how to make that? Of course, I could just make it open the url to the installer itself, and then let the person download it and run it by themselves, or just the game in a .rar file itself. But, I just want it to be as easy as possible. Does anyone know how to do this? Would this even work?
Then for installing, I'm not sure if Unity has built-in support for .rar but there's a bunch of free .zip unarchivers on the Asset Store. If your game does not require any special installation, if its just unzipping and copy to a folder then that could work.
As you are downloading the following mods, you will find some of them to be .7zip, .rar, or .zip files. These are types of archives, and are used to package mods. So it is essential that you know what they are and how to use them. Please read our Archives page for further reading.
@QueenB I apologize my self for not being able to upload directly the video, but the chat did not allow the mp4 format, so I upload the video in .rar format. There is a complete video of playing the level 5162. Is possible to see:
Custom content for games in The Sims series is usually contained in what is known as an "archive" file, usually a .zip, .rar, or .7z file. In some ways, an archive is sort of like a folder; it has its own name and location, and can contain other files and folders inside of it. However, the files inside an archive are compressed, so they take up less space and take less time to download. The files inside an archive must be decompressed and copied to a location outside the archive before they can be used. This is called "extracting", even though the file is not removed from the archive. With custom content, the issue is knowing which files to extract -- and for The Sims, which folder to place them in.
For Windows: Simply extract the game folder from the .rar file and run aroomwithoutyou.exe. To change game resolution among other options, run winsetup.exe, also included in the folder (for example, if you have issues switching in and out of fullscreen mode, you can try changing the graphics driver from Direct3D to OpenGL.) 041b061a72
